We carry a wide variety of frames and lenses and stand behind our products. If you buy your frame from us we will warranty the frame against manufacturer defects for two years. We also will warranty our lenses for two years against scratches if a scratch coating is put on the lenses. We feel that this will give our patients peace of mind that their eyewear will stand up to their needs.
The following is a list of all the frame brands that we currently carry. If you click on the name it will take you to the manufacturer website where you can often browse an online catalogue to see if there is a frame that you like. If we do not have it in stock we are happy to order the frame in for you to look at before ordering.
Our lenses come from several different area labs. Currently Dr. Askew's favorite lens is called the Autograph II® digital lens. It comes in single vision or as a no line progressive lens.
Why is this lens special? It uses Freeform® technology in which the lens maker can map out three to four thousand points on the lens and alter different points on the lens to give you the sharpest vision possible. If you have a high prescription you will understand what I am talking about. In traditional lenses the image is sharpest straight ahead but as you look off to the side the lens quickly becomes blurry. With the Autograph II® lens this blur is minimized by altering the power to compensate for changes in lens curvature. To learn more click on the image to the right.
